The Slip & Storage Index is free to use. To keep it that way we plan to earn money in the ways below, and we disclose them in line with FTC guidance.

Featured listings

Marinas may pay for a featured spot. Featured listings are paid placements and are clearly labeled “Featured.” Payment never changes a published rate or our methodology.

Affiliate partners

We may in future earn commissions when you buy through links to boat insurance, on-water towing (such as BoatUS or Sea Tow) or boating-gear partners. Any such link will be marked. As of November 5, 2026, the site has no active affiliate links or sponsors.

Independence

We are not affiliated with any marina. Rates come only from published marina or city sources with a check date.
